Join us at our workshop in Y Felinheli for an introduction to darning.
Darning is one of the oldest forms of repairs, and is a great way to maintain and even strengthen base layers, woolens and stretch garments.
In this 2 hour workshop, we will look at types of tools and threads/wools to use for darning. We’ll run through how to do a basic woven darn and look at how it can be used for a variety of repairs.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate sewing enthusiasts or knitters looking to learn more about mending.
All materials will be provided, just bring your own item of clothing or outdoor gear to mend.
Tea and coffee will be available during the workshop
