Hand sewing is the simplest way to repair your own gear, although not to be underestimated! Mastering a needle and thread is one of the best ways to start repairing and even altering your own clothes and outdoor gear.
In this 2 hour workshop, we will look at types of stitches and how to use them for the most common repairs we see. We’ll run through needle and thread types, 3 types of stitches, and our best tips and tricks.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate sewing enthusiasts looking to learn more about mending.
All materials will be provided, just bring your own item of clothing or outdoor gear to mend.
Tea and coffee will be available during the workshop
